Bail granted to 9 policemen

MIRPURKHAS, Feb 2: The second additional sessions judge of Mirpurkhas has granted bail in a sum of Rs200,000 each to nine dismissed police officials in a kidnapping case, keeping the victim in illegal confinement, misusing of powers and torture here on Saturday.

Inspector Abid Kaimkhani, sub-inspector Syed Ameer Azam, sub-inspector Syed Raza Mohammad Shah, sub-inspector Ameen Mari, sub-inspector Mustafa Thebo, head-constable Zulfikar Bhatti, constable Adam Baloch, constable Mohammad Yousuf and constable Rehmatullah were granted bail.
