Confernece on capital adequacy

KARACHI, Jan 29: The State Bank of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB), will hold a three-day conference on “Capital Adequacy” and “Transparency and Market Discipline” at SBP Learning Resource Centre here from Wednesday.

The conference, which is being conducted by a four-member team from the IFSB, will be attended by participants from the entire banking industry.

The conference, a part of IFSB and SBP initiatives to facilitate the implementation of IFSB prudential standards, will elaborate upon the standards and would explore the ways and means to effectively implement them in the country.
