DADU, Jan 26: Police on Saturday registered cases against 100 PPP, SPSF, PPP Youth Wing workers and leaders on charges of blocking Dadu-Larkana Road and burning tyres late on Friday night against the arrest of PPP worker Habibullah Jamali.

District presidents of the PPP and the SPSF, Gul Hassan Qambrani, PPP Taluka President Saifullah Panhwar, PPP District President Youth Wing Mohammad Omer Jamali, Mubin Jamali and 96 unknown PPP workers had been nominated in the FIR. Police was conducting raids for the arrest of accused but none was held so far.

DPO Dadu Ayaz Ahmed Pathan on Saturday suspended the SHO Dadu Police Station, Inspector Mohammad Ayoub Brohi on charges of delay in the registration of FIR against PPP workers for violence in the city while Inspector, Imamuddin Lund has been posted as new SHO.
