MIRPURKHAS, Jan 25: Police arrested Jhuddo Union Council Nazim Mohammad Aslam Kaimkhani on Friday.
Mr Kaimkhani belongs to the Pakistan People’s Party-backed Awam Dost Panel.
The detained nazim told reporters that police had accused him of being involved in damaging government property in the aftermath of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination.
He maintained that he was a victim of ‘political victimisation.’—Correspondent
