Pakistan beat NZ 6-1

LAHORE, Jan 24: A five-goal rally in the second half helped Pakistan crash out New Zealand 6-1 in the Eight-nation Junior hockey tournament in Malaysia.

Haseem Khan and Kashif Ali scored two goals each for Pakistan with Nasir Shahzad and Adeel chipping in one each.

Leading by 1-0 in the first half, Pakistan added five goals in the second to earn their big win. Pakistan, after a day’s rest on Friday, take on South Korea in the last league match on Saturday.
