Islam, son of Attique, of Gajjumata village, was playing along the bank of the drain, situated only 10 feet away from his house, together with his six-year-old sister, when he slipped and fell into the drain.

According to rescuers, they received a phone call from a passerby about a body lying in the drain near ARC Factory. After reaching the spot, they picked the body of a minor boy which was later identified as Islam.
