Cops taken hostage

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Jan 23: People took hostage nine policemen belonging to Rahim Yar Khan district when they came here to arrest a youth in a marriage case.

Later, Sadar police secured the policemen’s release after negotiations with the people of Chit Daggar. accident: The Karachi-bound Khushal Express smashed into a tractor-trolley at an unmanned level-crossing near Mana Ahmedani, some 35 kilometers from here on Wednesday. — Correspondent
