KARACH, Jan 18: Seven ships, carrying chemicals, containers and to load molasses and clinkers, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Hanjin Chittagong, Tower Bridge, and Y M Energy, to unload and load containers and Bunga Melati-7, to offload palm oil, berthed.

Five ships, Harmony, Augusta, Lucky Colorado and Chemstar Princess departed on Friday, while Hyundai Sprinter, Semoru, Lalazar, Tower Bridge, Hangin Chittagon, Y M Energy and Aqua Star are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.121m tons, comprising 16,345 tons of export cargo and 0.105m tons of import cargo, respectively, was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Baltic Mariner, to load 33,530 tons of molasses, Moyra, Hermig, Chemstar Brave, with chemicals, Oel Strength, and Orient Stride, with containers and Noor-i-Madina, to load 16,000 tons of clinkers.
