KARACHI: Telenor Pakistan has achieved 15 million subscribers base in less than three years of operations.

In FY06-07, the company grew nearly 200 per cent in terms of customers, experiencing the highest growth in the industry by a wide margin compared to its competitors, says a press release.

NEW DELHI: Top Indian generic drug firm Ranbaxy Laboratories said on Thursday its net profit for the year ended in December jumped more than 50 per cent on strong sales in emerging markets.

Net profit for the period rose to 7.90 billion rupees ($202.5 million), up 53 per cent from 5.15 billion rupees in 2006, the company said in a statement.—AFP
