KARACHI: PIA post-Haj operation

KARACHI, Jan 15: During the Pakistan International Airlines’ post-Haj operations that had commenced on Dec 25, 2007, as many as 81,868 Hajis had been brought back to the country through 244 flights from Saudi Arabia till Jan 14.

The airline’s post-Haj operation will bring back a total of over 121,447 Hajis through 364 flights.

According to the official statistics, PIA has transported 25,749 Hajis to Karachi through 60 Haj flights (including Faisalabad and Multan), 17,962 through 42 flights to Islamabad, 18,021 to Lahore through 42 flights, 12,829 to Peshawar through 63 flights and 7,307 Hajis to Quetta through 37 flights.

The PIA said that its entire post-Haj operation would conclude on Jan 24.—APP
