KARACHI, Jan 14: Babar Badat and Tariq Mehmood have been elected chairman and vice chairman of Pakistan International Freight Forwarders Association (PIFFA) for 2008.

Other elected members are: Salim Baxamoosa, Asad Ahmed, Abid Ali, Faiz Mohiuddin, Captain Mustafa, Mubeen Ahmed, Akhtar Abbas and Z K Jadoon.

Mohammad Yousuf from Sialkot, Ataullah Mengal and Nazir Ahmed from Quetta and Muzaffarul Mulk from Peshawar were elected unopposed, says a press release.

KARACHI, Jan 14: Abid Chinoy and Asif Karim have been elected chairman and vice chairman of Pakistan Cloth Merchants’ Association (PCMA) for 2008.

Central executive committee members are: M Jawed Chinoy and Aslam Parekh while central governing council members are: Mohammad Iqbal, Sikandar Ali, Asif Salim, Naseem Ahmed, Mohammad Amin Ismail, Mohammad Jawed Chinoy, Ghulam Abbas and Aslam Parekh.

Meanwhile, Aslam Parekh has been elected chairman Sindh-Balochistan zone of PCMA and Suleman Chotani and Mohammad Salman were elected as vice chairmen, says a press release.
