DEMO: The Awami National Party (ANP) on Friday staged a demonstration against the knocking down of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) lands and building.

The demonstration was led by ANP central vice-president and former district bar president Mirza Ejaz Baig and other office bearers.

Carrying placards inscribed with their demand of withdrawing illegal and unwarranted auction orders, they shouted slogans against the board authorities.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Baig said the auction of properties would render hundreds of the poor families homeless.
