Soomro meets GCCI

GUJRANWALA, Jan 9: Caretaker Prime Minister Muhammadmian Soomro has assured the business community that the government would overcome energy crises shortly.

Talking to a delegation of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), led by chamber’s newly-elected president Riaz Mahmood Bajwa, which called on him at his office in Islamabad on Wednesday, the prime minister said that the government was fully aware of the deteriorating situation of national economy due to energy crises and was taking solid steps to overcome these crises.

The GCCI president and other representatives informed Soomro that national economy was suffering badly due to chaotic situation prevailing in the country. — Correspondent
