Man, son injured

OKARA, April 4: A man and his son were shot at and injured by rivals here on Thursday.

Reports reaching here said Abdul Ghafoor of Azeemabad locality had a dispute with milkman Masroor of the same area.

Ghafoor and his son Hawaldar Muhammad Ashraf, who returned home on a five-day leave, were in the house when Masroor and his accomplices, including PO Zulfiqar, came there and opened indiscriminate firing on the inmates. They also manhandled women in the house.

Ghafoor and Ashraf sustained injuries. They were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in critical condition.

DEATH ANNIVERSARY: The 23rd death anniversary of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was observed here on Thursday.

Quran khwani was held in this connection.
