Man killed on road

GUJAR KHAN, Dec 2: An aged man was killed in a traffic accident near here on Wednesday morning.

Niaz Muhammad, of Behgam village, was standing near the road when a speeding car coming from Lahore side went out of control and hit him.

People present at the scene were shifting the injured to hospital when he died. The driver of the car, identified as Shahid Yar Khan, was handed over to the police. However, later the heirs of the deceased reportedly reconciled with him and let him go, the police said.
