LAHORE, Dec 29: The Rangers have neither created any hurdle in any work nor stopped anyone from visiting the Lahore High Court on Friday, said a court spokesman here on Saturday.
“The Rangers have been deployed at the high court on the request of the Punjab government to pre-empt any untoward incident from taking place, besides ensuring the security at the court.
The uncertainty prevailing in the wake of the assassination of former premier Benazir Bhutto had warranted their deployment,” he said.
