Improved rail tracks sought

MIRPURKHAS, Dec 26: President of the Railway Workers Federation, Manzoor Razi, has expressed his concern over train accident near Mehrabpur and demanded of the railway authorities to strengthen railway tracks throughout country and improve condition of passenger coaches.

According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, he regretted that Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas section was under repairs for last one and half year and deplored that trains were taking seven to eight hours between Karachi and Mirpurkhas against four hours travel. He demanded of the authorities to allot railway land to its employees.
