LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 20: Three people were gunned down during a clash between two rival groups on Thursday near the Zeran village, in the jurisdiction of the Lakki police station.

Police said that Farman and Munawar groups of the Tajazai area confronted each other near Zeran and exchanged fire. The encounter resulted in the killing of Farman Khan from one side while Munawar Khan and Khan Wali from the other.

Police cited old enmity as the reason for the killings.

The Lakki police filed two separate cases against the accused from the two sides and started investigations.
