SSP operations Mohammad Tahir Khan said this was yet to be ascertained as to from which area the army personnel had been kidnapped.
He said efforts were under way to ascertain the area from where the armymen had been kidnapped. He said efforts were also under way to find out who were involved in their kidnapping.
Another official pleading anonymity said the army officials might have been kidnapped in the jurisdiction of Darra Adamkhel.
