Explosion damages CD shops

MARDAN, Dec 16: A number of CD shops were damaged in an explosion at the Karim Manzil on the Gaju Khan road on Sunday.

The explosive device was planted near the gate of the Shuaib CD centre which went off with a big bang and damaged several adjacent shops. The explosion was heard far and wide.

Police and bomb disposal squad personnel collected pieces of the device at the site of the blast and started investigation. The Markazi Tanzeem Tajiran Mardan and Tanzeem Tajiram Gaju Khan road have condemned the attack.—Correspondent
