LANDI KOTAL, Dec 15: Tribesmen on Saturday blocked the Peshawar-Torkham road for an hour in protest against prolonged loadshedding and low voltage of electricity in Landi Kotal.

The tribesmen threatened to blow up electricity towers in their area and cut off the supply to an army camp and other official buildings if the problem was not resolved before Eid-ul-Azha.

LIQUOR SEIZED: Authorities at the Torkham border on Saturday seized 30 bottles of liquor from a bus going from Peshawar to Jalalabad.

Driver Hafizullah was arrested.

Investigation is under way.
