HYDERABAD, Dec 15: About 183 candidates appeared in the pre-entry test for admission to the bachelor of fine arts, bachelor of design and bachelor of architecture in the Centre of Excellence in Arts and Design (CEAD) affiliated to the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology for 2008 session on Saturday.

The dean of Faculty of Architecture, Planning, Arts and Design of MUET, Prof Dr Dost Ali Khwaja, the director of the centre Dr Bhai Khan Shar and a member of the board of governors, Mohammad Afzal Brohi visited the examination centre and expressed satisfaction over arrangements.

Pre-entry tests were also held in Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta at the same time for the candidates of Punjab, NWFP, Balochistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Northern Areas. The result would be announced on Dec 19.
