Seven killed in road accident

JHANG, Dec 7: Seven people were killed and 13 others injured when a Lahore-to-Karore Lal Essan bus overturned, near Madhani Jutt Butt Stand, 18 kilometres from Jhang, on Jhang-Faisalabad Road on Friday.

The driver lost control of the bus due to speeding and the bus skidded off the road into the roadside fields. Seven people, Nawaz and Muhammad Younis, of Lahore, Muhammad Ali, of Chunian, Haseeb Ahmed, Rasheeda Begum, Saira and Sehra, died instantly. Thirteen people were injured and treated at the Jhang District Headquarters hospital Jhang and Mochiwala Rural Health Centre.
