Number of voters up in new list

SWABI, Dec 7: The number of registered voters in Swabi — which has two national and six provincial assembly seats — has increased by 98,168 to 572,388 from 474,220 votes in 2002.

Sources in the Election Commission said on Friday that the number of women voters in the district stood at 228,530. Before the 2002 election, there were three constituencies in the district.

The sources said the number of voters in NA-12 (Swabi-I) was 284,227, including 112,439 women, and NA-13 (Swabi-II) had 288,161 voters, 116,091 among them women.

PF-31 (Swabi-I) has 9,6247 voters, including 38,339 women, and 36,007 of 91,619 voters in PF-32 (Swabi-II) are women. The number of voters in PF-33 (Swabi-III) is 96,361 which include 38,093 women. These three provincial constituencies are part of NA-12.
