Justice Tariq shifted to his home

ISLAMABAD, Dec 6: Justice (retired) Tariq Mehmood was shifted from Lahore Services Hospital to his residence in Islamabad on Thursday. He was kept in jail soon after his arrest on November 3.

The residence of Justice Tariq, located at street 1, sector I-8/4 has been declared a sub-jail. The personnel of Islamabad police along with prison police was deployed at the residence.

Earlier, he was bought to Islamabad through a PIA flight.

Meanwhile, a four-member delegation of the District Bar Association called on Justice (retired) Tariq Mahmood at his residence in Islamabad.

The delegation comprising Ahsanuddin, Sadaqat Khan, Mohammad Ishfaq and Asif Ali Malik inquired about his health and expressed complete solidarity with him and his family members, a statement issued by the bar said.—Staff Reporter
