Robbers stab man

LAHORE, Dec 5: Two robbers injured a man with knives when he tried to resist a robbery in Wahdat Colony on Wednesday and fled with his cell phone and money.

Mubashir Husain was on his way home when the robbers stopped him and asked him to hand them over his money and a cell phone. Husain resisted and the robbers attacked him with knives, snatched Rs5,000 in cash and a cell phone from him and fled. Husain was taken to Shaikh Zayed Hospital.

Two gun-toting men deprived Asif Ashiq of Rs4,000 in cash and a cell phone in Faisal Town, while as many robbers snatched Rs5,000 and a cell phone from Kamran in the same locality.

Amjad was deprived of his money and a cell phone in Iqbal Town, while Mrs Altaf was robbed of cash, a cell phone and two gold bangles in Johar Town.

Four men barged in the house of Amanat in Harbanspura, held family members hostage at gunpoint and fled with money, jewellery, cell phones and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands.

Four robbers stormed into the house of Shahid in Faisal Town and took away cash, jewellery, cell phones and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands.

Three robbers entered a house in Malik Colony in South Cantonment police precincts and fled with cash, jewellery, cell phones and other valuables worth Rs300,000.

Two men entered a CD centre in Shadbagh and took away Rs5,000 in cash, three cell phones and calling cards worth Rs3,000.

Two robbers burst into a chemical store in Akbari Mandi and fled with Rs80,000 in cash and a cell phone.

Two armed men barged in a dry cleaners shop on Ravi Road and took away cash and cell phones, while as many robbers took away cash and a cell phone from a bread shop in Ichhra.

STOLEN: Two cars were stolen from Main Market and Shadbagh while two motorcycles were stolen from Shalimar. —Staff Reporter
