HYDERABAD, Dec 5: The controller of examinations of the University of Sindh announced on Wednesday names of candidates who secured top positions in various faculties in the semester examinations of 2006.

According to a notification, Ms Paras Abro clinched top position in BBA (Hons), Manthar Ali Jamali in MBA (morning) and Ashique Ali Shah topped in MBA (evening).

In the departments under the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Ms Fatima Nisar Soomro topped in BS Physics and Ms Nida Memon in MSc (Pass) Zoology.

In the departments under the Faculty of Education, Ms Huma Ishaque Shaikh MEd (evening) secured first position while in the Faculty of Social Sciences Ms Ayesha Ameer Shaikh topped in BPA (Hons) and Ms Shahnaz Chandio in MPA (Hons).

LECTURE: The Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration of the University of Sindh is organising professor N.B. Daudpoto Memorial Lecture on “Economy of Pakistan: A Review” on Dec 6 at IBA auditorium.

Prof Dr Khowaja Amjad Saeed, principal of Hailey College of Banking and Finance of the University of Punjab would be key speaker at the lecture.

SAU: The Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam announced on Wednesday that the university would hold a training programme for the preservation of milk products in villages in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission from Dec 10 to 15.
