LAHORE, Dec 3: Six-goal Summan Aslam steered Lahore to earn an emphatic 15-0 win against Bahawalpur on the third day of the 23rd National Women hockey championship at the National Hockey Stadium on Monday.

Lahore led the first half 7-0 and continued the onslaught in the second.

Summan scored three goals in each half as she was on song to tear apart rival’s defence into pieces.

She was ably supported by Rabia Sarwar, Sumaira and Fauzia Akram, who pumped in two goals each.

Amna Mir, Ayesha Rafiq and Mehwish added one goal each to complete the tally.

In another high-scoring match, Faisalabad bulldozed Peshawar 7-0 as Sobia scored three. Mariam, Bismillah, Farhana and Ayesha added one goal each.

The winners had taken 4-0 lead at the half time.

Karachi and Mirpurkhas locked in a goalless draw.

Two-goal Asma Aslam powered Multan to beat Quetta 3-0. Multan were 1-0 ahead at the end of the first half. Mehwish Jan pumped in one goal.
