SAHIWAL, Dec 3: Two siblings were killed when they suffered electric shock at Thattha Sial Purana village on Monday.

Reports said Inayat was mending an iron rod when he suffered an electric shock. His 12-year-old sister, Rabia, rushed to save her brother but she too suffered a shock. They died on the spot.

Hundreds of villagers turned to their place and the entire neighbourhood was in gloom.

ROBBERY: Robbers plundered cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from a clinic-cum-residence on Sunday night.

Reports said four armed men entered Dr Muhammad Saleem’s clinic and held up the staff, bagging cash and cell phone sets. They also ransacked the attached residence and took away cash and ornaments.

The loss was estimated at Rs400,000. The Fatehsher police registered a case under section 392 of PPC.
