QUETTA, Nov 29: Two persons were killed and one was injured when Anti-Narcotics Force personnel fired on a suspected pick-up in Panjgur.

Police sources said the ANF personnel had signalled the pick-up, passing through Panjgur Bazaar, to stop but the driver tried to speed away. The ANF personnel chased the vehicle and opened fire on it near the grid station. Three people were injured in the firing and two of them died in the civil hospital.

ANF sources claimed that the people in the pick-up had first fired on the personnel.

Meanwhile, security forces on Thursday arrested five suspect Afghan nationals near Zhob and seized some important documents, a laptop, satellite phones, submachine guns and hand grenades.
