HYDERABAD, Nov 27: Hor-ticulture experts from Australia have assured Pakistan of exchanging researcher teams in accordance with the signed agreement signed between the two.

Les Baxcer and Ms Soshel Solmon gave the assurance to Vice Chancellor Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam, Dr Basheer Ahmed Shaikh on a visit, on Tuesday.

They exchanged views on agriculture and the VC informed the guests that research was being conducted on crop diseases. Mango and research teams from Australia will be appreciated to study its causes and remedies.

Professors, Dr Shafi Mohammad Nizamani, Dr Nabi Bux Siyal, Dr Ameer Bux Kalhoro and others also took part in the discussion.

EXAMS: The controller of examinations of the University of Sindh announced on Tuesday that the semester examinations of BCIT, BCS, BBA and MBA of private and degree colleges of 2006-07 batches will be conducted in last week of December.—Bureau
