KASUR, Nov 26: Three robbers on Monday shot dead a guard on offering resistance and took away Rs2 million from two cashiers of a private bank on Quaid-i-Azam Road, Pattoki.

Reports said that Allied Bank cashiers, Nadeem Sajjad and Shakil, along with guard Ashique Hussain were returning to the bank after collecting cash from another bank. Near Garden Town, armed bandits intercepted them and snatched a bag containing cash from them. For putting up resistance, bandits injured the guard with a gunshot fire.
