Mali, Speed to attend BCCI reception

NEW DELHI, Nov 22: The International Cricket Council’s (ICC) President Ray Mali and Chief Executive Malcolm Speed will join Pakistan, Indian teams and officials of the two countries at a dinner to be hosted by the Indian cricket board here on Saturday.

It will be hosted at the residence of Sharad Pawar, President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), during the first Test that started on Thursday.

Vice-president of the BCCI Rajeev Shukla said the ICC top brass, besides board officials of the two countries, would be present.

“Mali and Speed have been invited to dinner at Pawar’s 6, Janpath residence,” Shukla said.

Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Dr Nasim Ashraf and their selection committee chairman Salahuddin Ahmed have also been invited to the gathering.—Agencies
