NEW DELHI, Nov 22: Shiv Sena activists staged a protest here on Thursday against the Pakistani team, even as cricket fans thronged Feroz Shah Kotla stadium to witness the first day of the first Test match.

The Shiv Sena protestors alleged that there has been no improvement in India-Pakistan relations. “Our governments repeatedly talk of playing cricket with Pakistan to improve the relations between the two countries,” said Shiv Sena leader Jai Bhagwan Das, adding that “There has been no improvement in the relations.”—Agencies
