KARACHI: APDM rally today

KARACHI, Nov 22: The All Pakistan Democratic Movement (APDM) has finalised preparation for a protest demonstration against the imposition of emergency in the country on Friday at Empress Market, Saddar.

The organisers said that leaders of the APDM, Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) and other opposition parties would address the protesters.

Meanwhile, the election board of the MMA has also convened its meeting on Friday at the Quba Auditorium.

According to a spokesman for the MMA, Maulana Asadullah Bhutto, provincial chief of the alliance, will preside over the meeting which will finalise the list of candidates to be fielded in Sindh for the Jan 8 general elections.

One member from every component party of the alliance will participate in the meeting.—PPI
