HYDERABAD, Nov 21: Officials of the Forest Department alleged here on Tuesday that a hunting team from an Arab country has violated the territory allotted to another Arab country in district Dadu.

Sources said that Dadu district has been allotted to the heir apparent of Amir of Qatar by the Pakistani government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for hunting of Houbara Bustard for the season where they hunt through falcon.

Until now, sources said, the place was normally allotted to royal family of the UAE but this time the family had been allotted an area in Jamshoro district, once part of the undivided Dadu district.

The hunters from Qatar’s family, riding in different vehicles, were on their way to Dadu district when they, according to reports, entered Jamshoro area, mistakenly, as they were not aware of the bifurcation of the Dadu district.

The field staff of the forest department guided them to their area of hunting.

No unpleasant incident took pace, said the sources while requesting anonymity. They also denied arresting any illegal hunters. “We can’t detain a minister of any other government as we have to inform the foreign ministry first,” said the sources.
