KARACHI, Nov 20: The bullet-riddled body of a young man was found on Tuesday near Memon Goth link road.
The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where the victim was identified as Sajjad, 20, son of Khudadad Baloch, a resident of Liaquatabad.
Police said a case (FIR No. 142/2007) against unknown killers was registered on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Shahzad.
The complainant told the police that his brother was a labourer and had gone missing on Monday after he left home at around 9pm.
Sources at the JPMC said the victim had received two bullets in his head and one in the left arm. The shots were from a close range, they added.
