KARAK: Staff of NGO killed in accident

KARAK, Nov 19: A driver of the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) was killed, while its district general manager and another man sustained injuries when a vehicle collided with a car on the Indus Highway here on Monday.

Eyewitnesses said the NCHD vehicle with its district general manager Usman Yaqoob in it was going from Karak to Peshawar when it met with an accident near the Niazi Well Stop. Driver Awal Badshah died on the spot, while Mr Yaqoob and the driver of the other car were injured.

The injured were taken to the nearby community hospital. The doctors said the injured were out of danger.
