Bungled robbery

Three brothers were wounded in a bungled robbery at their bakery in North Karachi.

Khawaja Ajmair Nagri police said a gang of four robbers entered Pak Bakery in Sector 5-A/4 and held Nadim Ahmed, who was handling the cash counter, hostage at gunpoint. The victim offered resistance when the robbers demanded money. In the meantime, Nadim’s brothers, Abdul Khaliq and Abdul Waheed, entered the bakery and upon seeing them, the robbers opened fire.

All the three brothers sustained bullet wounds and were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. They were, however, discharged after being provided with medical treatment.
