Asjad steers Artex to victory

LAHORE, Nov 14: Three-goal Omar Asjad Malhi helped Artex beat Master Paints 6 ½ – 6 in the Pace Polo Cup here on Wednesday.

The winners had one-and-a-half golf handicap. The other two goals were scored by Azam Hayat Noon and Ali Ahsan Siddiqui.

Sufi Haris, Sufi Amir and Ashfaq Ahmed scored two goals each for Master Paints.

In another match, a decisive goal by Usman Haye in extra chukker propelled Adisseo beat Guard Rice 6 – 5.

Usman and Hama Mawaz Khan scored two goals each. Sameer Habib Oberoi and Mohammad Raza scored one each.

For Guard Rice, Taimur Ali Malik banged home three goals. Taimur Mawaz Khan added two.

Good Will Foods overcame White Pearl 7 ½ – 6.

Atif Tiwana and Tahir Aslam Awan contributed with five and one goals respectively.
