BAHAWALPUR, Nov 14: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Saad Rafiq was shifted from Lahore to Bahawalpur’s new central jail late on Tuesday night.

On his arrival here, local PML leaders Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar, Samiullah and Mumtaz Ahmed Jajja met him.

Separately, local lawyers continued their strike after 10:30am to press for the acceptance of their demands.

The problem started when high voltage wires on Satellite Town’s Rafi Qamar Road broke at 7:30pm. The Multan Electric Power Company could only restore the power supply to the area at 12:30am.

SUICIDE: A man committed suicide by shooting himself in his home in a nearby village.
