ISLAMABAD, March 26: Pakistan fully shares the grief of Afghan brethren over loss of precious lives in earthquake that struck Afghanistan on Monday night, says a statement issued on Tuesday by the office of the spokesman, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The government and the people of Pakistan were deeply shocked to hear the news of the earthquake that struck Afghanistan on the night of 25/26 March 2002, resulting in the loss of many precious lives and causing extensive material damage,” the statement said.
The government and the people of Pakistan fully shared the grief of Afghan brethren over this calamity, it added.—APP
