Bride, groom injured

SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 12: Five people, including a bride and her groom, were injured when a speeding car overturned on Lahore-Islamabad Motorway on Monday evening. A marriage procession on its way to Shargodha from Kala Shah Kakoo, near Muridke, when the car carrying bride and groom turned turtle near Sheikhupura Interchange on M-1 Motorway.

Bride Iram and groom Eklaq Ahmad were taken to Mayo Hospital in Lahore owing to their critical condition while driver of the car and two others were hospitalised in the local DHQ Hospital.
