KHAIRPUR: Six hurt in clash

KHAIRPUR, Nov 9: Six persons have been injured in a clash between groups of Mangrio and Katpar communities over money in Kot Mir Mohammad, on Thursday. Mohammad Hanif, Shafi Mohammad, Allah Warayo, Mohammad Umer, Ali Dino and Ali Raza were injured in a scuffle using sticks and bricks.

Faiz Mohammad Bindo Police arrested nine persons of Katpar community including Ehsan Ali, Mohammad Hanif, Mohammad Umer, Hashim Faqir, Shafi Mohammad, Allah Warayo, Ali Dino and Ali Raza.

PEON DIES: Mukhtiar Hussain Phulpoto, a peon of the Department of Archaeology, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur who was injured in a road accident on the National Highway, died in the Nawabshah Hospital on Thursday.
