PESHAWAR, Nov 8: The Senior Alumni Association of the Islamia College Peshawar would hold its 8th Annual General meeting on December 1, said a press release issued on Thursday.

This was decided at a meeting of the association presided over by the NWFP Minister for Finance, Planning and Development, Muhammad Azam Khan.

NWFP Governor Ali Muhammad Jan Aurakzai, an alumnus of the college, is expected to attend the meeting. If he does attend it, he will announce the grant of university status to the institution on the occasion, according to the handout.
