KARACHI, Nov 8: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi on Thursday finalized the dates for the announcement of results of Class-XI annual examination 2007.

According to the schedule, the BIEK will announce the results of pre-engineering (HSC-I) on Nov 18, pre-medical (HSC-I) on 25th, commerce group (HSC-I regular and private) on Dec 15 and Humanities group (first year, regular and private) on Dec 15.

Besides, the supplementary examinations for pre-medical, pre-engineering, home economics (regular and private) and humanities (regular and private) will commence with effect from Dec 26.

Meanwhile, the board has decided to provide the educational institutions with the model papers based on a new pattern for next year’s exams by Dec 15.

According to officials, the orientation and training programme for paper-setters and examiners will be organised in the last week of December.

In a notification, issued to the colleges and higher secondary schools, all the principals have been asked to follow the schedule and also ensure submission of attendance record of their respective students to the board on 10th of each month for necessary action in this regard.
