KARACHI, Nov 5: Five hockey players are on the injury list ahead of two-day trials for the Champions Trophy.

The trials will be commencing at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium here from Saturday.

Captain Rehan Butt, Ghazanfar Ali and Zeeshan Ashraf are having hamstring problems while Mohammad Amin is suffering from fever and Ihsanullah has a knee injury.

“We expect the four except Ihsanullah to be fit in next couple of days while Ihsanullah will be taken to a specialist for complete check-up,” Pakistan’s manager-cum-chief coach Islahuddin said on Monday.

Islah added that goalkeeper Nasir Ahmed, who had a bout of dengue, has joined the camp after making full recovery and was doing well in the training camp.—APP
