Two shot dead by rivals

SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 2: Two persons were killed and another injured allegedly by their rivals in Hadoke village in the Muridke Sadar police precincts on Friday.

Iftikhar, Ghaffar and Hanif were present at their outhouse when Ijaz along with accomplices opened indiscriminate fire on them. Iftikhar died instantly while Hanif and Ghaffar sustained injuries. The injured were taken to hospital where Hanif succumbed to his injuries.

ACCIDENT: Sixteen passengers, including two women, were injured when a bus overturned near Manoo Stop on GT Road on Friday.

The bus was going to Lahore from Narowal when its tie-rod failed and it overturned. As a result, 16 passengers were injured, six of them seriously.
