Yaqub excels with 5 goals

LAHORE, Oct 30: Yaqub Sial struck five goals as Colony Sugar defeated Hattaf Security 6 ½ – 1 as three matches decided in the Low Goal Cup at the Lahore Polo Club on Tuesday.

Sami Ibrahim added the sixth goal while the half goal was handicap.

In another match, five-goal Asif Zahoor guided Rangers Whites to beat Lahore Chatkhar 8 – 3 ½.

Omar Asjad Malhi and Sameer Habib Oberoi were other scorers for the winners.

A dying minute goal by Mir Shoaib Ahmad helped Paints overcame Olympia 6 – 5 ½. For the winners, Sufi Mohammad Haris (4) was the top scorer.—Sports Reporter
