Golf trials for India tour start

PESHAWAR, Oct 30: Trials to select national golf team to take part in the seventh Pakistan-India Kirloskar Trophy got under way at the PAF Golf Club here on Tuesday.

An official of the Frontier Golf Association said 36 golfers in two different categories –– 40-50 years and above 50 years –– were taking part in the three-day trials over 54 holes.

He said four players would be selected for the national team, besides four each in both the age categories.

The Kirloskar Trophy will be held in Delhi from Nov 27 to 30.——APP
